When  I was in the position of having to purchase a house I had a Mr. Knapp perform a home inspection for me and he saved me from making a bad investment.  He saw flaws in the house that I had no awareness of and I would have incurred more financial expenses than just purchasing a new home.  I continued my house hunting and found another house that I did end up purchasing as it passed the home inspection Mr. Knapp provided. 
 
It has been 6 years now and I am very pleased with my home and grateful that it has not presented me with any financial surprises to date.  I found enough financial surprises with; lawyer’s fees, taxes,  land titles registration and, utility hook ups that I did not need to have purchased a house that also needed immediate repairs.  The home inspection was a very minimal cost when I consider the expenditure I might have incurred with the repairs of the first house I considered purchasing.  If I am in the position of having to purchase another house in the future I will be getting a home inspection first.
